Vauxhall Corsa vs Ford Fiesta: Which Holds Its Value Better?
By Juan Pedro Nguema · Updated

The Fiesta costs more at the same age, but it loses value faster each year (6.5% v 5.8%), and Ford stopped making it in 2023. The Corsa is the cheaper way into a nearly new small car.

What the numbers mean
These were the UK's two favourite small cars for years, and both are popular first cars for new drivers. At the same age, a Fiesta typically costs £700-£2,500 more than a Corsa. Ford ended Fiesta production in 2023, so the newest Fiestas are now three years old. The Corsa is still on sale, including as an electric model (5% of the Corsas listed). Few buyers of either car choose an automatic (26% Corsa, 11% Fiesta). For a first car, compare insurance quotes as well as prices.
