Free motorcycle valuation
Most valuation sites are built for cars and treat motorbikes as an afterthought. moValue values bikes too. Enter your bike's registration and get a free valuation in about 30 seconds, then use it to set an asking price or to check whether a dealer or instant-buy offer is fair.
What you get
What affects a motorbike's value
- Mileage and MOT history. Consistent mileage at each MOT reassures buyers. Very low mileage on an older bike can raise questions about long storage.
- Licence category. A2-compliant bikes, and full-power bikes that can be legally restricted, appeal to a large group of newer riders.
- Season. Demand rises in spring and early summer and falls in winter. If you can choose, list your bike in spring.
- Write-off history. A Cat S or Cat N bike usually sells for noticeably less. Check before you buy.
- Modifications and condition. Quality, reversible upgrades can help a bike sell; heavy customisation narrows the buyer pool.

Is the motorcycle valuation free?
Yes. A basic valuation by registration is free and needs no sign-up.
Do you value scooters and mopeds?
Enter the registration and we will value it if it is a road-registered bike we have data for.
How accurate is a motorbike valuation?
It is a guide based on the bike's details and market data. Condition, service history and modifications can move the real price up or down, so compare it with similar bikes for sale near you.
When is the best time to sell a motorbike?
Usually spring and early summer, when more people are riding and buying.
Can I sell my bike through moValue?
moValue compares values and offers; it does not buy bikes itself. You choose whether to sell privately, part-exchange or use an instant-buy service.
