What the numbers mean
Same badge, different jobs. The Juke is a compact crossover; the Qashqai is a full family SUV and costs £2,300-£7,700 more at the same age in our data. Because the Qashqai starts from a higher price and drops faster in percentage terms, the gap narrows quickly: it is about £7,700 on 2025 cars but only about £3,300 on 2021 cars. Both lose about 5.1% for every extra 10,000 miles. An automatic gearbox adds much less to a Juke (+7.6%) than to a Qashqai (+16%), so a manual Juke is a sensible choice if you want to keep costs down. If you need the space, an older Qashqai can cost little more than a newer Juke.
